Shawn is a civil engineer with over 40 years of experience in multi-disciplined engineering, construction, and project management across various industrial sectors, including power generation (fossil fuels and renewables) and transmission, petroleum refinery, industrial process, materials handling, k-12/municipal facilities, and defense. Specific duties have included project management, construction management, project development, contract development and administration, project reporting, personnel management, safety, subcontracts, cost estimating, budgeting, cost tracking and forecasting, design review, change management, commissioning, project close-out, warranty administration, feasibility studies, scheduling, permitting, and right-of-way acquisition.

He has been integral in the development of renewable energy projects for PacifiCorp and has managed the execution of construction contracts for more than 2000 megawatts of power generation and transmission projects for multiple utility companies. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University.
